Seve
In 2030, conscious food is convenient
Summary
Seve redefines how we will shop for food in 2030. It is a sustainable food system built on the following principle : when conscious food is convenient. Food shopping trends have evolved to favour convenience, compromising on transparency, quality, fairness and sustainability. Seve is a solution that looks to provide convenient sustainability. It is designed for urban areas with ever growing populations. Seve is an efficiently designed service system that combines 2 innovative touchpoints, the food kiosk and the green zone.
Role
I was responsible for the context and opportunity framing, which was accomplished through diligent market research. It proved to be particularly important during the brainstorming and the concept selection stages. I designed the User Experience of the Food Kiosk, determining its role within the service system and using technology to elevate the food shopping experience.
Challenge
The Seve interface needed to tackle the lack of transparency plaguing the wider food industry, the demand for convenience and foster a customer-farmer relationship. The UX needed to strike balance between these key elements without falling in the trap of overwhelming the end users.
